Combining St Johnswort and Ephedra

Please tell me the effects of combining St. John's Wort and Ephedra.

We are not aware of any studies that show the merits or demerits of this combination. It is not, to our knowledge, a traditional combination so we do not have the benefit of a history of use to answer your question. The two herbs act in different ways and whether they would interact positively or negatively is not known.
