Golden Seal

Is it true that Golden Seal Root will give a false report of Cocaine?

I haven't heard of this. Golden Seal root contains the alkaloids hydrastine, berberine and canadine, while the alkaloids in Coca leaves are cocaine, cinnamyl-cocaine and alpha-truxalline. Apparently there are many sophisticated methods of identifying cocaine alkaloids in the blood.
