Spleen Cleansing

Is there an herb which can be taken to cleanse the spleen?

Daniel Mowrey, in his book, "Proven Herbal Remedies" (available from Richters), recommends a blend containing dandelion, cascara, licorice, celery, cayenne and wild yam for the liver, gallbladder, pancreas and the spleen.
