Someone mentioned the herb "uraogist". I cannot find it in my herbs books. Are you familiar with it or may be on another name? I have neuropathy from diabetes (leg pains and cramps). Do you know of any herbs that I could try to help this?
I am not familiar with "uraogist".
Melvyn Werbach, M.D. in "Nutritional Influences on Illness" (Third Line Press, Tarzana, California, (800) 916-0076 or (818) 996-0076) reports on studies that have shown beneficial effects of the following nutritional supplements: Vitamin B complex, B 12, B 6, inositol, biotin, thiamine and Evening Primrose Oil.
Daniel Mowrey, in "Proven Herbal Blends" (available at Richters) suggests a nerve and gland tonic for use in diabetes, that contains Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), Gentian root (Gentiana lutea), Chamomile flowers ( Matricaria chamomilla), Blue Vervain (Verbena hastata), Dandelion root, Yellow Dock root (Rumex crispus), Skullcap (Scutellaria laterifolia), Wood Betony (Stachys officinalis), Kelp, Cayenne and Saw Palmetto Berries.
