Can an individual take Kava Kava during the daytime hours and not feel sleep induced?According to the book, "Kava: The Pacific Elixir" (available from Richters), kava is a "mild narcotic, a sporific, a diuretic, and a major muscle relaxant." It may induce "sociability, feelings of peace and harmony, and, in large does, sleep, or it may fail to produce relaxation and easy sociability among drinkers."
