Hi! I would like to know how to make tea from thyme and what kind do you use. I didn't know that where were so many kinds. Where can I buy them in the winter time? If you used just the thyme by itself, wouldn't that be bitter?Tea made from thyme leaves is believed to be helpful to dispel an on-coming headache, to relieve chest congestion and coughs, ease menstrual cramps and moodiness, fever and mild sore throats. Sip several cups a day, and if congested, also inhale warm vapours. Honey or sugar helps improve any bitterness. Add a bit of lemon juice if desired.
