Steeping Herb Teas with a Coffee Press

While I use a coffee grinder to grind many of my dried herbs (for teas etc.), will a coffee press work for "steeping"?

A coffee press sounds like a great idea for your herb teas. I presume you mean the Bodum type where the leaves go in the bottom, you add boiling water, allow leaves to steep, then press leaves to the bottom. Thanks for sharing that. Herb leaves may also be steeped in a regular tea pot then strained out, if desired, when you pour into cups.
Remove fresh leaves from stems (if planning to dry leaves for tea, also remove from stems, dry whole, then place in jar and store away from heat and light...do not crumble them.) Steep leaves for about 5 minutes; taste to determine if tea is to your liking. Steep longer or add more leaves.
