Cream of Cilantro Soup

Do you have a recipe for cream of cilantro soup?

Sorry, no I do not have a recipe for this soup. You could try a basic recipe for any creamed soup... saute some onions in butter or oil, add a bit of flour to absorb the oil; cook for 2 minutes stirring. Add chicken or vegetable stock and milk (add chopped potatoes if desired; cook until soft), then stir in chopped cilantro and heat through. Stir in whipping cream (35% fat) or sour cream (puree if using potatoes, if smooth soup desired). Garnish with chopped fresh chives or garlic chives. Could be served hot or cold.
